Software Freedom Day 2009 on Region IX a Success

The Software Freedom Day 2009 last September 19 held at STI College Zamboanga Building was a success.

The Mindanao Open Source Society (MOSS) will celebrate Software Freedom Day 2009 on Region IX along with the Computer Professionals Union and STI College of Zamboanga on September 19, 2009. MOSS Site Launched

The Mindanao Open Source Society (MOSS), supported by the Philippines Web Hosting and Delta IT Consultancy, launched its official site. This site will serve these purposes:

To provide a virtual community, a place where members can interact with each other
To provide links relevant to the goals of the organization
To explain the goals the organization
To increase public awareness of the organization
To uphold the goals of the organization
